Well 2010 was without doubt a great year. As always I am so thankful to be able to follow my dreams and shoot photography for my work. Not only did I shoot many weddings for some wonderful couples but I also had some interesting projects during the year as well. From following the life of a jockey, to documenting the work of a drop in centre for homeless people in Fortitude Valley, to shooting some images for the Wesley Research Institute to promote the wonderful work they do, to following the work of a Phd student researching the effects of speech therapy for stroke victims. Stayed tuned people, I will post some images from all of the above shortly.....:)

Well work is starting to finally slow down and I am looking forward to having some time to head out and shoot some more personal work. Hey all. Yes I know it has been a long time since I have made an entry but been busy with many new developments. As some of you may know, I have been working with Backtrack Adventure Travels since 2004 as a trek leader on the Kokoda Track. From November next year I will be running photography tours starting with a trip to Nepal for 18 days. To find out more info click here. Is nature not a wonderful thing.....I had the pleasure recently to be sitting on the side of a mountain waiting for the right time to shoot when I noticed this tree not too far away......right time....right light and camera in hand.....what a wonderful relaxing day just enjoying what nature has to offer......nothing else needed......

I have been thinking lots lately about what and where to make changes to my site with respects to my personal work. For so long I have focused on my wedding, portrait and commercial clients I have not given a lot of time to my personal work. Given I have 2 projects on the go at the moment that will result in exhibitions, I thought now was the time to update some of the galleries and also to put in place some pricing structures for my open edition work and what will be limited edition prints. Firstly I have created a new structure for my work. Links are below. Soon I will have online info about image sales. New area for me but looking forward to getting off the ground. I am hoping to exhibit and show as much of my work as possible. Watch this space......
