While 2008 was without doubt a fantastic year for me professionally, 2009 is shaping up to be even better. The biggest highlight was without doubt having Lonely Planet request images from me for their 2008 edition of Papua New Guinea. The images were used in support of their information on the Kokoda Track. I was also fortunate enough to go back and walk Kokoda for the 8th time. No 9 will be this year in July.

As always Kokoda helps me to remember how lucky we all are, for many different reasons. I took a camera over for the trip and was very happy with many of the images I came home with. As always I am looking forward to going back to visit friends, and help a new group of people gain the understanding that walking the track can give.

I was also fortunate enough to be involved in shooting many weddings for many wonderful people. It is always an amazing feeling to be a part of peoples lives when they are celebrating moments like these. I also became an uncle for the first time. Welcome Sierra!!

2009 looks to be another fantastic year. One that I am looking forward to very much. I have many things planned for this year. I have a new website being built and can now be found in Qld Brides (May & Nov issue) as well as their website. More weddings, portrait sessions and fun in general. I also am hoping to spend more time in the mountains, capturing those moments in time that too few people are lucky enough to witness.

Take care all and will keep you posted........
